Semester research project optimizing throughput on the Einstein@Home gravitational-wave search

• Identified the Windows WDDM driver model as the GPU performance bottleneck through profiling; migrated the workstation to Linux Mint to enable direct GPU access.
• Configured CUDA Multi-Process Service (MPS) as a systemd daemon, enabling concurrent GPU kernel execution and effectively doubling task throughput on a single RTX 5090.
• Achieved sustained per-day output ranking competitively among top global contributors on the O4AS search; documented the full optimization process in a research paper and presentation.
