Privacy Policy

Plain English: this site doesn't track you. The only personal data it collects is what you voluntarily send through the contact form. That data is used to reply to you, and nothing else.

What I collect

Through the contact form, this site receives whatever information you choose to provide — typically a name, email address, and message. Nothing else is collected from you automatically. No analytics scripts run, no tracking cookies are set, no third-party ad or marketing tags are present anywhere on this site.

Like any website, the underlying hosting infrastructure sees standard request metadata — IP address, browser user agent, the page accessed — for routine security and performance purposes. I don't have direct access to those logs; that data is handled by Cloudflare and governed by their own privacy policy.

How I use it

Contact form submissions reach me by email so I can reply. That's the entire purpose. I don't add you to any mailing list, don't share your message with anyone else, and don't use the information for anything beyond responding to your inquiry.

Third parties

Two services help deliver this site, and each receives a portion of the data described above:

  • Cloudflare Pages hosts the site and serves its files. Cloudflare sees standard hosting metadata for every request. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • Formspree processes the contact form. When you submit the form, your message is sent to Formspree's servers, which then forward it to my email. Formspree briefly stores the submission. Formspree's privacy policy.

That's the full list. No third-party analytics, no ad networks, no tracking scripts of any kind.

How long I keep it

Messages sent through the contact form stay in my email until the conversation naturally concludes and I clean things out — typically months, occasionally longer if we're in ongoing correspondence. You can ask me to delete a thread at any time and I'll honor it.

Your rights

You can ask me what data I hold about you, ask me to delete it, or ask me to correct it. The honest answer for most people will be "an email from you, which I'll happily delete." Email me from the contact page if you want to make a request.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies of its own. Cloudflare's edge infrastructure may set strictly-necessary cookies (such as __cf_bm for bot management) that are exempt from consent requirements under most privacy frameworks. No analytics, advertising, or behavioural tracking cookies are set by this site or any third party it loads.

Changes

If I update this policy, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page will change. Substantial changes will be reflected in the language of the policy itself; minor edits (typo fixes, link updates) may not be flagged.
